do you know About LOW FAT MINIMALIST SOUP ?
Okay maybe it didn’t change my life, but from what I can remember this is one of the best ones I’ve ever had and definitely the best one I have ever made.
This might be due to the fact that I just finished a 7-Day water fast and this is my third day of “recovery”, but never-the-less I couldn’t live with the guilt of not posting this and I am pretty sure that if you make it you will not be disappointed.
LOW FAT MINIMALIST SOUP The best thing about it: It’s super simple and I made it in 15 minutes.
Let me know if you want me to elaborate on the water fast, results, symptoms, how to etc. My dad is very well versed when it comes to fasting and I can make a little Q&A post to cover everything you need to know if you want to try it out on your own.
I will say one thing, it’s one of the hardest things I have ever done, it requires a huge amount of willpower, but I think this makes it even more rewarding.
So let me show you how I made this soup. In case anyone cares, I used all organic ingredients, and I do for most of my recipes but this soup still came out to cost less then 3 dollars in total if you do the math AND I live/shop in Manhattan.
In my opinion eating organic at home is still cheaper then eating out all the time.
Time: 15-20 minutes
Price: About 3$
- 2 carrots
- 1/2 bag of frozen peas
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 vegetable bullion cube
- 1-2 cups of water (may vary on how thick you want it)
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2-1 tsp coconut oil
- Spices: Turmeric, Black ground pepper, Curry & Fennel
Himalayan Salt to taste
Start by cutting the onion into chunks, cubes whatever you want really and then pour them into a medium temperature sauce pan with 1/2-1 tsp of coconut oil.
Cube the carrot and if the onions are starting to look slightly brown pour the carrots in and later 1/2 bag of frozen peas (I think I poured in a little more).
Add the bullion cube and stir the whole thing until it gets too steamy in your kitchen 😉 (no but seriously)
Then add the water and let it boil until it’s cooked, duh.
Then you can add all your little spices and the nutritional yeast and blend it all up.
Pour it in bowl, add salt if it needs it and eat it with gusto and mindfully obviously.
Hope you liked this recipe,
By the way, don’t ever take a photo of a soup like this and try to make it look appetizing, trust me I did… It doesn’t work.
